OUR YOUTH MINISTRY - “Glory to Glory” Youth Ministry

MISSION STATEMENT

 

Scripture Base: 2 Corinthians 3:18

 

The Victory in Christ Church Youth Department, hereby known as the Glory to Glory Youth Ministry, is here for the nurturing, healing, and growth of youth and young adults ranging from ages 0-30.

 

Proverbs 22:6 says “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” The mission and purpose of Glory to Glory is to:

1.  Teach them the written Word of God for growth, wisdom, and sustainment,

2.  Train them for service in the Lord’s church,

3.  Equip the youth to be leaders in today’s generation,

4.  Encourage them to live what they learn,

5.  Embrace them with God’s Love.

 

We believe that everyone called of God encounters Him at different times, according to His sovereign will and purpose. We cannot force our youth into salvation, nor can we make them holy; however, we can point them to Christ by planting and watering the word within them, and believing God to give the increase in His own good time (1 Corinthians 3:6).

 

Glory to Glory will bring GLORY to God by the POWER of God through the WORD of God!
